Nashville At Heart – UK Tour
A nationwide theatre and concert hall tour, delivered with Eventech’s complete production, logistics, and management expertise.
The Beat The Drum – European Tour was one of Eventech’s most ambitious projects to date. Spanning more than 45 shows across Europe, including key dates in Germany, Denmark, and the UK, the tour demanded a production partner with both technical expertise and the infrastructure to manage complex international logistics. Eventech was entrusted with providing not only the technical backbone of the show but also the transport, touring infrastructure, and coordination required to keep such a large operation running seamlessly.
The foundation of the tour’s success was a full control package, deployed to give Front of House engineers the tools they needed to deliver the most authentic sound possible. Central to this was the integration of UAD plug-ins, carefully selected to recreate the signature Runrig sound with high-end reverbs and analogue-style compression. This attention to sonic detail allowed the engineers to capture the warmth and depth of the original recordings, giving audiences an experience that felt faithful, powerful, and immersive.
To support the musicians, Eventech provided wireless in-ear monitoring systems, ensuring clarity and consistency on stage from the first venue in Cologne through to the final performances in Copenhagen and beyond. Alongside this, Eventech supplied critical backline equipment, including drums, keyboards, rigs, and spare guitars for band members. By supplying and managing this backline, Eventech guaranteed reliability and continuity across dozens of venues, removing variables and allowing the artists to focus on their performance.
Equally important was the handling of logistics and transport. Touring across multiple European borders required meticulous planning and flawless execution. Eventech managed the movement of both people and equipment, overseeing schedules, routing, and vehicle coordination. A crucial part of this responsibility was the preparation and management of European carnets, the legal documentation required to import and export touring equipment across countries. This expertise ensured that the tour moved smoothly across borders, avoiding costly delays and giving the management team complete confidence in the schedule.
Adding another dimension to the project was the presence of a BBC documentary crew, embedded with the band for the duration of the tour. This required Eventech’s production team to work hand in hand with the filmmakers, adjusting stage setups and accommodating camera positions without compromising the quality of the live shows. The ability to balance live production with filming requirements highlighted Eventech’s adaptability and collaborative ethos.
For audiences across Europe, the result was extraordinary: a tour that combined the passion of Beat The Drum with technical delivery that matched the highest professional standards. Behind the scenes, it was Eventech’s combination of detail-oriented logistics, cutting-edge equipment, and boutique, personal care that made the difference. The tour was more than just a string of concerts. It was a showcase of authenticity, artistry, and precision, made possible by a production partner that understands how to keep complex, international projects running flawlessly from start to finish.
